Meet Katia Saintfort-Russ!


Katia Saintfort-Russ stands as a beacon of inspiration and resilience. As the CEO and Founder of "Baking Is Therapy, Inc.," she has, since 2014, transformed her passion into a mission, touching and uplifting the lives of hundreds of children across the community. But Katia's journey isn't just defined by her formidable impact through this organization; her academic and professional pursuits speak volumes of her dedication to growth and excellence.


A proud alumna of the University of South Florida, Katia holds a Bachelor of Arts degree that laid the foundation for her continued educational pursuits. Her thirst for knowledge led her to attain a Master's degree from Troy University, and she is currently navigating the academic corridors of Purdue University, working towards a Doctoral degree in Technology. Professionally, she dons the cap of an IT Executive, showcasing her adeptness in Technology and management.


Beyond her academic and professional accolades, Katia's commitment to community and leadership is evident in her affiliations. In 2022, she served with distinction as the co-chair for the Dr. MLK Leadership Breakfast organized by The Tampa Organization of Black Affairs. Her membership roster is a testament to her versatility and dedication— from Forbes BLK, National Society of Black Engineers, and Women in Cybersecurity to Cohort Sistas and Blacks in Technology, she actively engages, contributes, and champions diverse causes.


Katia embodies dedication, leadership, and a genuine desire to make a difference in every facet of her life. Whether through her transformative work with "Baking Is Therapy, Inc." or her involvement in prestigious organizations, she continually strives to pave paths, inspire, and elevate those around her.
